Told ya I was sending some your way!
Weāve had a little bit here, but only sporadic long light falls and the occasional short downpours, but nothing like QLD and NSW get to swim around in!
Fingers crossed you get some more after our Wheatbelt has finished with it.
The Squier Classic Vibe single coils are now ultra quiet, no hum. Weāll have to see how quiet the project strat is when the P90 goes into it. P90s are notoriously noisy and subject to 60 cycle hum, but Iām optimistic.
Regardless, I love the look⦠rear covers stay off which I believe makes a difference to tone and showcases the copper. The tape takes me back to the old NASA photos of the LMs on the Moonās surface, back in the 60sā¦
Getting ourselves ready for a trip to Hawaii today, clean the house, mow the lawn, tick the boxes, pack the bags.
Going to the Arizona memorial, USS Missouri, aviation museum and USS Bowfin at Pearl Harbor. Will do a trip to the Army Museum. And weāve booked ourselves some range time to play with MP5ās, AKās, SCARs and some other fun toys we donāt have here
You have go out to one of the islands to see the sun set over water up here.
Itās a top spot though⦠really quiet, you can hear the surf hitting the ocean side of Bribie, very few people after dark. On a clear night you get to see a little of the milky way too⦠less light pollution.
No fish though⦠unless you count three throw-back micro yellowfin bream.
Yeah that was always the trippy part to get used to every time I was in either NSW or QLD, was the Sunrise and Sunsets being arse about face!
Doesnāt sound like a big thing, but when you have worked outdoors your whole life and get used to a certain pattern, it really screws with ya head when everything seems to be going the opposite direction.
When you are used to the Sun coming up over the land, if you are facing North, itās on your RHS obviously.
To see it coming up over the ocean, it feels like a late afternoon in WA facing South with the Sun and Ocean on your right, the complete opposite⦠really disorientating!
Hard to explain, but just messes with ya head when you are used to the Sun only being over the Ocean in the late afternoon, not in the morning!
Mornings seem like afternoons, and afternoons look like mornings!š«Ø
