Wasn’t too bad, bit of Dremel work at the front of the upper to make room for the gen 9 t piece.
Replaced mag release with Gen 9 specific version.
Beside that pretty straightforward.

Same stock came out on the old HeE Punishers, albeit shitty ABS.
I’ve got a set of those cheek risers kicking around, might need to secure a CTR stock now.

I’m pretty sure I’ve seen STL’s for CTR risers too, I know there’s butt plates for them at least.

Well, yesterday…
climbed MT DOOM…wait, i mean castle hill, in townsville…
Its only short, of being a mountain, by a few metres…uni students stacked a few rocks , but it wasn’t accepted…!!
Still, looks imposing…

Was in Townsville when we were heading to Iraq for Desert Storm. When the fully laden C5 took off we were wondering if it would clear the hill. Watched it for ages and it was always lower than where we looked. The Singaporeans were there as well with their Skyhawks

Ha! Last time I was up in Townsville I couldn’t work out why the beautiful stretch of beach you see from Castle Hill lookout was friggin’ empty…
Then I found out a couple of salties were spotted hanging around, the irikangi were thick in the water and the bull sharks? Well, they were always there anyway 
Give me SE QLD any day of the week…

I tried the goat track up that little hill back at easter time. I was royally fucked by the time i got off the streets leading to the start of the track

I did a dental volunteering, trip , in nepal… a few years back…
We Climbed about 6000 vertical feet, in one day…
nearly 10 000 steps, from memory… a half day climb…
And, got a little bit lost, on the way down…
Fuck me…legs were pillars of concrete…
