What Did You Get Up To Today?

I never noticed that! Pity my MP7 was far, FAR out of reach :weary:

You were right about the jetskis, too! Had a few young blokes screaming up the river at full speed on some. There were guys doing practice laps up and down the river in their power boats as well. That big yearly event is only a few months away come to think of it.

Looks like the floods have killed all the grassy banks that were nice to lounge around on near the water.

Complete with half life crab

Huh! That answers a question my gf and I were having at the time. We were wondering whether the river was still particularly high at the moment, some of those park benches were so darn close to the waterline. People were even leaning rods on the things, ingenious bastards!

“Lets Rock”…!!! and,
" there’s (no) movement, all over the (inner barrel) place…" …
" 5m, man , 4 …"
“your not reading it right”…
“that’s inside the room…!!”

Cant wait, to see more…!!

Funny enough, the Cyma metal outer barrel fits perfectly into the supports to allow threaded muzzle attachments :sunglasses:

Lamb shearing, getting done, going well. Got to do it or they’ll go backwards. Seeing as I can’t sell them just gotta spend more money so they don’t die. :upside_down_face:

was cruising Fakebook and came across this from AH

Nearly $1600 for a toy. Cheaper to get a cat H licence and have fun with some real steel. Only advantage of the toy is ammo cost

Took a detour to WAT today since I haven’t been since the reno. What welcomed sense of nostalgia! They nailed the feel of a high end A/S shop in Asia in the 90s. So great to see so many displays and parts in proper display stands (and not just wall mounted), but not only that, a smorgasbord of blinged out, tricked out blasters on display as well.
Comparing shops fit out wise, every other shop feels half arsed.

The retaining wall down the coast, is now finished.
Just a last few bits of fencing to be added, then deal with the pavers…

Grey slate, around the back ( out of sight)

For the pavers, I have decided to go with a white exposed aggerate concrete block, and be done with it.

For a area of 24m2, tilers wanted $5500 for just the laying tiles, with me providing the tiles…!!! ($1.5k) Talk about pricing yourself out of a job…!!

Exposed aggerate removes all that cost, arguably lasts longer, and is just as easy to gerni, for a similar finish

Leave the existing tiles, and concrete where the pavers are…

It looks so much better, when the vegetation grows back…
Lots of kangaroos, in the nature reserve…

Beautiful work mate, looks much better!

I’m currently working with a mate on his house today with laundry & toilet Reno’s…… which is nowhere near as exotic as your yard work :joy:

Pulling out all wall/ceiling panels, replacing, building door frames, rehanging doors, adding timber work to the old original house frames etc etc……. With a good dose of the awesome old Asbestos to play with :flushed:

Haven’t done this type of work for years, but they are skills that don’t seem to forget!

Good stuff.
We aussies, have a love affair, with real estate, and rennos…

Im sure your place will come up sparkling…

A tidy up, and a good coat of paint, really pick a place up…

I have some photos, on my other computer elsewhere, of the rennos at mums old place.

She was in a queenslander for 35 years, and progressively less got done, as she got older. Before she moved and sold, I had downstairs given the works.
The before / after pictures tell the story, and downstairs went from being the worst area of the house, to the best…

I’ll post them up later…
Enjoy the rennos…!!

Keep the dog away from Aitken…she may go for the kidneys…!!

You gotta pay to play I’m afraid. Straight out 5mx10m or 7.5 cubic metres of concrete smoooth as baby’s bum 6 inch thick con the crete so I can put my 10t trucks and tractors on it without cracking and work on them. $5 grand chement and labour start to finish mesh included job.

Lasts forever though instead of bodging shit up and it lets you down in a couple years. Or old uncles backyard slurry mix. Mine was mixed hard concrete to suit load carrying. Not walkway chook dust.

Oh and today finished lamborghini shearing and bulk classed the wool sorted the lambos out, off to the wool depot tomorrow with ze wool to pay the bills. 120 in 2 hours and the rousy called in sick so I was on me own, fk I’m sore. Doing all the wool and penning up, ah fk it good exercise.

Just realised that it looks like a photoshopped “Z” in my first pic.

Despite the flag on my profile, I can assure you that this is actually just an exposed section of white water pipe! :joy:
