What Did You Get Up To Today?

Bugger aye. A Ford what out of interest.

Also why I service my cars weekly with what ever is needed, because when I’m stuck… I’m walking a looong fkn way and done it a few too many times.

Start getting flat tires, time for a full set of new ones. But the roads are rough, less tread you have the more prone they are to punctures and 5mm allen keys random on the road fallen out of some other goons ute.

AU Falcon XLS ute - with a bunch of Tickford bits. Last Falcon that you can really work on

My condolences :bouquet: :joy:
I just got rid of my XH Falcon Ute, which had the TICKFORD modified engine and LPG/Petrol package fitted.

Nicely fitted out in regards to the nice interior with all the bells and whistles compared to the usual Falcon work Utes, but it still had all the FORD factory faults as well!

Fuel Injected 4.0litre 6 and 5 Speed manual, yet gutless and thirsty as all buggery…… even when running on LPG it had more power, but less klm range out of the tank :frowning:

Done hundreds of thousands of kilometres all around the Wheatbelt in it without too many problems…… other than LPG not being available anywhere!

Had many mechanical/electrical problems that were always having to stay on top of, but eventually filled #6 cylinder with water…… which would have been the standard cracked Alloy head problem that FORD’s were renowned for , but I couldn’t be arsed fixing it so just sold it off for a parts vehicle for someone else.

I had a go at the work ute years ago, was an XG with our 3 piece mags on it dumped in to the weeds with ROH in fancy sign writing all down the side. 6, column auto. It only had 10k on the odo, I was tasked with taking all the crap down to the trade show.

Went friggin nice sideways down Port Road!  :+1:

Sydney overnight…
Had a lovely walk, around, darling harbour…
( this is rare…normally , we get in quite late, and leave early the next morning)

Now, please excuse me… i have to spend a months wages, to buy a hot dog, and a coffee…jeez…we all love sydney…

Is it just me , or does the crown casino…
Look like a toilet scrubbing bowl, minus the brush…!!

Gunboat, from the harbour…

It’s getting cheaper to holiday out of Australia.
I Used to love going on road trips to Sydney, Brisbane, and even tazzi.
Now with the coast of fuel and food and tolls.
I can barely leave my post code .
I took public transport the other day (first time in 20years) as I have a seniors card I have never used with a go card attached.
So I caught a bus to the train station and a train to Helensvale and then a tram to Southport.
It was after 9am so very quiet .it was surprisingly quick.
And very enjoyable
Best of all it only cost me nothing as seniors travel free between 9am and 2pm
Had a cheap lunch in Chinatown.
So my next adventure is to go to Brisbane and then on the ferry cat as that’s free.
About time this getting old pays off

Just hooned into town on the Leccy Scoota to grab some groceries…… and is such a nice evening, thought may as well grab a beer and watch the sun go down next to the river whilst I’m in “town” :sunglasses::+1:

Even managed to capture a wild black swan on the water! :joy:

Fantastic, scenery shots…!!
I love the beauty of, nature…

Yeah, no matter how hard life gets in regards to health and whatever other bullshit life throws is at us……. simply kicking back and appreciating our surroundings is absolutely essential and priceless for our mental health and wellbeing :ok_hand::sunglasses:

This is seriously right in the middle of “suburbia” !!!

Check it out for such a terrible highly fast paced and overpopulated place to try and survive in!
I chose this simple link because it’s short and sweet.

“Pub’s” ??? there’s only one!

BTW, the famous Tullis Bridge attraction has now been mined out, so yeah nah, you ain’t gonna see that place again for quite a few years :rage:

Holy snappin’ duckshit Batman!

Just found out that this happened in my “home town” very recently!

I go back to Waroona every weekend from the Workshop in Boddington, and remember pulling the piss outta the fact that our fibreglass cow was wearing a rainbow coat when we went past on the Friday afternoon just gone……. nek minute apparently this happened a couple of hours afterwards, and NO, it wasn’t me :innocent: :joy:

So I take it that I will see Mooriel again this Friday afternoon back in her same old place on the highway in town!

But, sydney being sydney…you have to pay.

I remember many years ago, when they had a ship in brissy, they allowed us on board, for free.
Good publicity…

where do you get these / how do you build em, I gotta get a few and make my room all fancy save some space

They are just single bed bases🤣
Had some bunks that converted to singles with wooden posts.
Just cut the posts down a bit so they acted like feet and stood them on their ends👍
